Avid's BB7 is the mechanical-disc brake that raises the bar. Avid makes it easy to get a perfectly set up brake with their innovative CPS Hardware Kit. Each kit features a series of washers that make it easy to set up your brake. Step 1: Install the bolts and washers loosely so the caliper can move. Step 2: Squeeze the brake lever. Step 3: Tighten the bolts. It's that simple to get a rub-free setup! This kit includes stainless steel hardware with washers and bolts for both CPS (Caliper Positioning System) mounting and standard (direct-mount)mounting.

With the evolution of disc brakes on time trial bikes, TRP saw the need for a high-performance hydraulic TT disc brake resulting in the all-new HD-T910. We took a unique approach to the time trial brake by combining speed and style which resulted in the TT Hydro. Initially, the lever was handcrafted from clay before being finished off in aluminum. This allowed our designers to offer maximum ergonomics and an elegant visual appearance. From there it was forged from alloy, given a replaceable rubberized grip, and finished off with a carbon lever blade. The lever is matched to a black flat mount caliper designed to offer controlled braking at any speed. This translates into even pad and rotor wear, because the rotor does not need to flex to one side during braking. We added a simple cable barrel adjuster to make fine-tuning easy. All of this in an incredibly thin 40mm, 146g package that works with any drop bar levers on the market. Rotors and adapters are sold separately. For tandem bikes, we recommend the Spyre caliper paired with our 2.3mm thick rotors. This will give optimum stopping performance for you and your partner.
